  • Ingredients:Parseley, Rosemary, Sage, Thyme

Getting ready for spring and summer! Amarillo hops for aroma, Citra dryhop.

  • Hops:Hallertau Hersbrucker, Spalt Select

I wanted to get more familiar with German beer styles, so brewing a Kölsch seemed to make sense. Hallertau Hersbrucker hops for aroma.

  • Ingredients:Candy sugar, Oak Wood-chips (Whisky soaked), Salty Liquorice, Star anise

Jasper pitched me the idea for this recipe and i decided to brew it. Spalt Select and East Kent Goldings aroma hops.

  • Hops:Amarillo, Chinook, Columbus, Magnum, Willamette
  • Yeasts:WY1056 American Ale

My very first attempt at an IPA! Magnum and Columbus hops for bittering, Columbus and Willamette hops for aroma and dry-hopped with Columbus, Chinook (2x) and Amarillo.

  • Abv:4.3%
  • Brewdate:2012-11-24
  • Malts:Amber liquid malt extract, Cara-crystal (120ebc)
  • Hops:East Kent Goldings, Fuggles, Styrian Goldings
  • Yeasts:WY1968 London ESB Ale

The day before brewday i realized i had the wrong malt extract. Hence the twisted: it’s an ESB brewed with amber malt instead of pale malt. Styrian and East Kent Goldings aroma hops.
